Submission
Author guidelines
All papers should be submitted electronically as PDF files, according to the IEEE Xplore standards. Papers can be submitted by means of the EDAS tool. Once there you can go to the current list of conferences and special issues.
If you are not registered in EDAS, you can create a free account by clicking the create your new user account link in the login page.
Examples of paper formats, usable as templates, are provided:
- Microsoft Word template;
- LaTeX2e Infocom new style file (Be sure to use \documentclass[11pt,twocolumn]{IEEEtran} to obtain 11 pt. output.), sample LaTeX2e document (11pt), bibliography style file, PDF sample layout.
The papers will be published in the conference proceedings distributed in CD at the conference.
For the publication of an accepted paper, registration of at least one of the authors is requested.
The authors of accepted papers will be possibly requested to provide an extended version of the paper.
Format requirements
Submitted papers should be 8 pages long.
Each submission must be accompanied by the following information:
- a short abstract
- a complete list of authors and their affiliations
- email addresses
- the topic(s) to which the paper pertains
Poster sessions
Schedule:
Monday, April 18: 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Tuesday, April 19: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Format:
- The title of the poster should appear at the top in CAPITAL letters about 25mm (1") high. Put the author(s)' name(s) and affiliation(s) just below the title.
- Boards will be provided for all poster sessions. We remark that boards are 190 cm tall x 80 cm wide. We suggest to prepare poster not exceeding 100 cm tall x 70 cm wide.
- Use pictures, diagrams or figures rather than only text wherever possible.
- Prepare a short presentation (five minutes) that can be periodically given to people interested in the poster subject.
Information to poster sessions participants: when you arrive at the conference venue, after registration, please ask the conference staff for Salvatore Morsa who is in charge of organizing the poster sessions.

- Final Manuscripts to Publisher: February 18th, 2005
- Publication of Proceedings: April 2005
